Haunted Wild West City in Byram Runs Fridays and Saturdays Through October 31, 2026

Haunted Wild West City is open for its 2026 run every Friday and Saturday night through Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 10 PM. The park is at 50 Lackawanna Drive in Stanhope, in Byram Township. The final haunted train departs at 9:15 PM, and the last walk on the haunted trail starts at 9:30 PM.

A single $30 ticket, the same price for adults and children, covers both experiences. Guests receive two tickets on arrival, one for the haunted walking trail and one for the haunted train ride. This is not the kid friendly version of Halloween. Wild West City rates the night PG-13 and warns of loud noises, gunfire and jump scares, with themes of madness and murder. It encourages parental discretion. For younger children, the park points families to its daytime Spooky Wild West City event, which is a milder take on the season.

The haunted nights fall on Fridays and Saturdays in October: October 2 and 3, 9 and 10, 16 and 17, 23 and 24, and 30 and 31. That gives you five weekends to choose from, and the earliest nights will likely be quieter than the final Halloween weekend. If you want the biggest crowd energy, aim for Saturday, October 31.

Wild West City is best known as a summer attraction, a recreated frontier town with a train and staged gunfights. After dark in October, the park turns that setting into a theatrical scare. Our tips are to dress warmly, wear comfortable shoes for the trail, and arrive early enough that you are not rushing to make the last train at 9:15 PM.
