The Great Pumpkin Festival is underway at Heaven Hill Farm, 451 State Route 94 in Vernon, and it runs through Sunday, November 8, 2026. The 2026 season began Saturday, September 12, and weekend admission is $24.99 when tickets are bought in advance online.
Hours depend on the day. The farm lists September weekends as 10 AM to 6 PM, and its event listing shows Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 10 AM to 6 PM. November is weekends only, 10 AM to 5 PM. Weekday hours vary, so check the calendar on the Heaven Hill Farm festival page before you go. Parking is free with any admission.
Weekend and holiday tickets cost $24.99 in advance and $29.99 at the gate. Starting October 1, weekday admission drops to $15.99 in advance and $19.99 on the day. A season pass is $59.99 for unlimited visits, and children under 2 get in free. The farm notes that capacity is limited and that pre-purchased online tickets are guaranteed entry, which is worth remembering on a sunny October Saturday.
Admission includes more than 35 family activities, among them hayrides, the corn maze, farm animals, pig races, obstacle courses and pedal cars. Weekends also bring the Dynamo Dog Show. The farm says carnival rides, the pig race and the dog show are not offered on weekdays, so if those are your kids’ priorities, plan for a Saturday or Sunday.
A few attractions cost extra. Pony rides, paintball with 150 rounds, apple cannons with 12 shots, and gem mining are $10 each. Wine tasting is $8 and limited to guests 21 and older. Carnival rides are $1.50 per ticket with a four ticket minimum. On weekends and holidays, ten food stands sell apple cider donuts, candy apples, kettle corn and more.
Our advice is to buy tickets online, arrive early on a weekend to beat the lines, and bring a card for the extras. The festival is also listed with NJ Climate Week programming on its event listing. For accessibility questions, contact the farm directly.
