Never miss what is happening in Sussex County
Events, new openings and weekend plans from Newton to Vernon, Sparta to Stanhope. Straight to your inbox, free.
The Jack-O’-Lantern Experience at Skylands Stadium, 94 Championship Place in Augusta, continues through Sunday, November 1, 2026, with general admission at $20 and VIP at $39. Children 36 inches tall and under get in free, and parking is free. Tickets must be bought in advance online through the Sussex County Miners ticket site.
The centerpiece is a walk-through trail of more than 6,000 hand-carved, illuminated jack-o’-lanterns. The stadium says the walk takes about 45 minutes and suggests planning around two hours in total once you add the festival activities. New for 2026 are an interactive corn maze and never-before-seen pumpkin displays, according to the stadium’s Jack-O’-Lantern Experience page.
The ticketing page also lists carnival rides, seasonal food and drinks from The Barnyard, a craft beer garden, a s’mores fire pit, live music, a petting zoo, pumpkin picking and painting, and weekly theme nights. Extra costs apply for food, drinks, pumpkins and some activities. The event runs rain or shine, and the stadium says hours can shift with lighting conditions and business levels.
VIP access at $39 adds skip-the-line entry, one complimentary drink token and a commemorative badge. The stadium notes that standard tickets require an advance online reservation, while VIP does not require a reservation.
Which nights does it run? The stadium describes the season as select dates from September 25 through November 1 and asks guests to choose a date at checkout. A third party listing from Mommy Poppins shows October nights as the 8th through the 11th, the 15th through the 18th, and the 22nd through the 31st, plus November 1. Because that listing is not from the stadium, confirm your date on the ticket site before you buy.
For questions, call the stadium at (973) 383-7644 or email contact@skylandsstadium.com. Our tip is to book a weeknight or Sunday slot if you want a thinner crowd, and to dress for a cool evening in the open air. The trail is a good fit for families and for anyone who wants a Halloween outing that is more glow than gore.
