Skylands Stadium in Augusta hosts its rescheduled Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 3, 2026, starting at 1 p.m. Our team is flagging this 21-and-over Eat & Drink afternoon because tickets include a souvenir stein and a full draft beer, with traditional German food and more seasonal pours available on site.
The Sussex County Miners ticket desk moved the celebration to October 3 after weather forced a change. Prior tickets remain valid for the new date. The stadium sits at 94 Championship Place, Augusta, NJ 07822. For ticket questions, call 973-383-7644.
What Your Oktoberfest Ticket Includes
According to the official Sussex County Miners Oktoberfest listing, tickets start at $25 and include admission, a full-sized souvenir stein, and one full draft beer. Traditional German food is available for purchase, along with seasonal beers, wines, ciders, and seltzers. The stadium also plans live music and college football on the TVs.
This Oktoberfest is 21-and-over only. It is a separate ticket from the family Jack-O’-Lantern Experience running the same evening.
Beer Garden and Stadium Atmosphere
Skylands Stadium’s Jack-O’-Lantern site lists Oktoberfest as a special beer-garden night featuring 20-plus craft beers, seasonal brews, and festive fall flavors with live entertainment. The stadium’s on-site restaurant, The Barnyard, is part of the broader fall festival dining mix for guests who want a full meal around the event grounds.
If you are building a wider Sussex County food plan this month, our fall food guide covers cider donuts, farm festival eats, and beer-garden stops across the county.
Add On the Jack-O’-Lantern Experience After Sundown
Want to keep the night going? The Miners ticket page says the Jack-O’-Lantern Experience opens at sundown with a roughly 45-minute illuminated trail and corn maze for an additional $20. That walk-through is a different ticket from Oktoberfest and is the family-facing pumpkin trail we also listed in our Halloween weekend roundup.
Jack-O’-Lantern standard tickets are sold online in advance at $20, with kids under 36 inches free and free parking. VIP walk-through tickets are listed at $39. Food, drinks, and some activities are extra on that side of the night.
How to Get There and Buy Tickets
Buy Oktoberfest tickets through the Sussex County Miners ticketing site before you go. The address is 94 Championship Place in Augusta, a Frankford Township mailing address in the heart of Sussex County farm country, a short drive from Newton, Branchville, and Lafayette.
Saturday also brings a separate Skylands cornhole tournament on the grounds from 1 to 6 p.m., with its own ticket. Oktoberfest remains the dedicated German-food and stein event for adults who want an Eat & Drink afternoon at the ballpark.
Raise a stein at Skylands Stadium Oktoberfest today: Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 1 p.m., 21-and-over, $25 with stein and draft beer included, at 94 Championship Place in Augusta.
