Fairview Lake YMCA Camps will host Fairview Fest, a free holiday market, on Saturday, November 28, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The market takes over the camp at 1035 Fairview Lake Road in Stillwater Township (Newton mailing address), with local vendors, handcrafted goods and outdoor camp activities for the whole family.
The camp describes Fairview Fest as a festive way to kick off the season: shoppers can browse artisan products and one-of-a-kind gifts, then try some of the outdoor activities and camp experiences running throughout the day. Admission is free, and food and drinks will be sold on site, according to the camp’s Community Events page.

What to Expect at Fairview Fest
Fairview Fest is built around local vendors and handmade items, which makes it a good stop for small gifts, stocking stuffers and decor you will not find at the mall. Because it falls on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, it also lines up with Small Business Saturday, when shoppers make a point of buying local.
The setting is part of the draw. Fairview Lake YMCA Camps sits on the shore of Fairview Lake, and the market gives families a chance to see the camp outside of summer season. Fairview Lake YMCA Camps is a branch of the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges.
Plan Your Day
- Arrive early: The market runs six hours, so morning visitors get the first look at vendor tables.
- Bring an appetite: Food and drinks are for sale throughout the day.
- Dress for the outdoors: Outdoor activities are part of the day, and late November at the lake can be chilly.
- Make it a holiday Saturday: The Newton Holiday Parade is the same day in Newton, so you can make a full holiday Saturday of it.
