The Newton Theatre November 2026 lineup is one of the busiest months on the calendar at the historic Spring Street venue, with 11 performances across 9 acts between Thursday, November 5 and Sunday, November 29. Our team pulled every November show from the official SKYPAC events list, along with the day of the week, door time and showtime, so you can plan a night out in downtown Newton.
The month mixes real touring headliners (Norah Jones with Puss N Boots, Cowboy Junkies, Jefferson Starship and the GCS power trio) with tribute nights for the Eagles, Tom Petty, Billy Joel and Elton John, a comedy night on Thanksgiving weekend and a Trans-Siberian Orchestra tribute that kicks off the holiday season. Here is the full list in date order.
Newton Theatre November 2026 schedule at a glance

The November shows, one by one
GCS: Eric Gales, Dennis Chambers and Billy Sheehan (Thursday, Nov. 5)
The month opens with a power trio built from three well-known players: blues-rock guitarist Eric Gales, drummer Dennis Chambers and bassist Billy Sheehan. SKYPAC bills it as three of the most electrifying musicians in modern music, together on one stage. This is the pick for anyone who goes to shows to watch serious musicianship up close. Doors 7 p.m., show 8 p.m. Event page.
Eaglemania (Friday, Nov. 6 and Saturday, Nov. 7)
Eaglemania is an Eagles tribute band, and the venue’s listing promises five-part harmonies and virtuoso guitar work. With two nights on the schedule, it is the easiest November show to fit into a busy weekend. Doors 7 p.m., show 8 p.m. both nights. Event page.
Puss N Boots featuring Norah Jones, Sasha Dobson and Catherine Popper (Sunday, Nov. 8)
The biggest name of the month: Grammy winner Norah Jones performs with Sasha Dobson and Catherine Popper as Puss N Boots. SKYPAC describes the night as an intimate evening of Americana. It is also an earlier show, with doors at 6 p.m. and the show at 7 p.m., which makes it a good Sunday night out. Event page.
Cowboy Junkies, Live on Tour 2026 (Friday, Nov. 13)
The Canadian band brings its 2026 tour to Spring Street. The venue describes the set as a blend of folk, blues and country noir in an intimate concert setting, which suits a historic theater well. Doors 7 p.m., show 8 p.m. Event page.
The Breakers, A Tribute to Tom Petty (Saturday, Nov. 14)
The Breakers play the hits of Tom Petty, with the listing promising a live tribute packed with classic rock favorites. Expect a sing-along crowd on a Saturday night. Doors 7 p.m., show 8 p.m. Event page.
Jefferson Starship (Thursday, Nov. 19)
Jefferson Starship plays a weeknight show, billed by the venue as more than 50 years of arena-rock anthems performed by the musicians who helped bring them to life. Doors 7 p.m., show 8 p.m. Confirm the date when you buy tickets. Event page.
Yellow Brick Joel, A Tribute Concert (Friday, Nov. 20 and Saturday, Nov. 21)
Two piano legends in one show: Yellow Brick Joel covers the hits of both Elton John and Billy Joel. Like Eaglemania, it runs two nights, so you have a Friday and a Saturday option. Doors 7 p.m., show 8 p.m. Event page.
Big Apple Comedy Club #68 (Saturday, Nov. 28)
SKYPAC calls this its fan-favorite comedy show, and the November edition features four comedians. Falling on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, it is a good plan for a night out with family who are in town for the holiday. Doors 7 p.m., show 8 p.m. Event page.
Twelve Twenty Four, Tribute to Trans-Siberian Orchestra (Sunday, Nov. 29)
The month closes with the first holiday show of the season: a full-scale holiday rock orchestra concert of the rock-edged holiday music made famous by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Doors 6 p.m., show 7 p.m. Event page.
About the Newton Theatre
The Newton Theatre sits at 234 Spring Street in the center of Newton, the Sussex County seat. It began as a movie house in the 1920s and today operates as a performing arts venue run by the Skylands Performing Arts Center (SKYPAC). Its size is part of the draw: national acts play a room far smaller than the arenas many of them have headlined.
