The Christmas Village at The Shoppes at Lafayette returns on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 75 Route 15 in Lafayette Township. Lafayette Village Associates hosts the day as its Christmas Village and Small Business Saturday celebration, with local vendors, holiday food, photos with Santa and a tree lighting to close the day.
Our team pulled every detail below from the Christmas Village event page and the 2026 events calendar on The Shoppes at Lafayette website.
What to Expect at the Christmas Village
The Shoppes at Lafayette is a collection of shops set around a village green off Route 15, with specialty shops, women’s boutiques, antiques, home decor, vintage finds, a sweet shop and a coffee shop. On Nov. 28 the village adds a lineup of local vendors to those regular stores, so it is an easy place to knock out holiday gifts from small businesses in one stop.
The organizers list these features for the day:
- Local vendors
- Festive food and warm drinks
- A Cocktail Garden for adults
- Live music
- Photos with Santa from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
- A Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5 p.m.
Newer tenants are part of the mix this year too, including Vernon Threads Clothing, Lafayette Mercantile and Huckleberry Hair.
Plan Your Day in Lafayette
The village opens at 10 a.m., and the afternoon Santa window makes the middle of the day the busiest stretch for families. If seeing the tree lit is the goal, plan to stay through the 5 p.m. ceremony as the shops wind down. Dress in layers, since much of the village is walked outdoors between buildings.

You can also pair the day with another holiday market. Fairview Fest runs the same Saturday at Fairview Lake YMCA Camps in Stillwater, and both are in our full list of Christmas markets in Sussex County.
