What to Expect at the Fall Craft Fair
Northwest Christian School describes the fair as a day of shopping, fellowship and seasonal fun. Expect a wide variety of talented local artisans selling handmade goods, plus unique gifts and delicious treats. It has run for more than four decades, which makes it one of the longer standing autumn traditions on the Sussex County calendar.
The timing is the big draw. The fair lands five days before Thanksgiving, so it is a natural place to get a jump on holiday gifts from makers rather than big box stores. It also works as a relaxed outing with family and friends on a late fall Saturday, since it runs a full six hours and you can come and go as your day allows.
About Northwest Christian School
Northwest Christian School is located at 92 Route 519 (Halsey Road) in Newton. The Fall Craft Fair is one of the school’s signature community events, and it doubles as a way for local families and businesses to support the school. Shopping the fair is the simplest way to take part, and the school also offers event sponsorships at several levels for anyone who wants to give more directly.
