The Shoppes at Lafayette brings back Garlic Fest on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 75 State Route 15 in Lafayette Township. Admission is free, and our team is circling it as one of the tastiest weekends on the Sussex County fall calendar, with local garlic growers, food trucks, a farmers market and beer and cocktail gardens spread across the village.

What to Expect at Garlic Fest 2026

According to the official Garlic Fest 2026 page, the weekend pairs incredible food with shopping, live music, local garlic growers, food trucks, a farmers market and beer and cocktail gardens. Organizers at Lafayette Village Associates call it one of their favorite weekends of the year, and it fills the walkways of the former Olde Lafayette Village on Route 15 with vendors.

Garlic is the headliner, so come hungry and bring a tote. One past visitor quoted on the Shoppes’ homepage looks forward to bringing home garlic bread, specialty olive oil and many bulbs of unique garlic from around the world, and the 2026 vendor list points to another weekend of great food finds.

Food Trucks, Sweets and Specialty Foods

The Shoppes at Lafayette has posted a partial vendor list, and it reads like a road trip menu. Food and specialty vendors named so far include:

  • Savory bites: Cousins Maine Lobster, Azul Poblano, Mt Taco, Juan Grande, Cuban Queen Café, Orie’s Kitchen and Queen’s Way Café
  • Breads, cheese and pantry goods: Hoffman Bread, The Bread Boutique, Jersey Girl Cheese, Jersey Pickles and Lees Bees NJ
  • Local farms: Valley View Farm, Countyline Farm, The Farms at Marian Lea and The Vert Farmer
  • Sweets and treats: Lizzy’s Fried Ice Cream, Sue’s House of Fudge, Sweets by Sisto, The Macaron Lady NJ, Chella Bella’s Baked Goods, Shannon Eye’s on Pies, The Licorice Guy and Snowie of North Jersey
  • Drinks: Citrus Squeeze and Chill, Bucha Booch and Fresca Cup

Because the list is partial, more vendors may join by the weekend.

Beer Garden, Distilleries and Cocktails

Adults can plan on more than garlic. The festival lineup includes Angry Erik’s Beer Garden, plus All Points West Distillery and Milk Street Distillery, which fits the beer and cocktail gardens organizers promise for the weekend.

Shopping, Crafts and Something for the Dog

Garlic Fest doubles as a big shopping day. Artisans and makers on the partial list include Blankets Extraordinaire by Lori, Bracelet Therapy, Pam’s Crafty Ceramics, KMJ Creations, Home Made Flags, The Plant Coven Co and the Next Chapter Mobile Bookstore. Golden Paws Barkery is on the list for four-legged guests, and the village’s dog policy allows leashed dogs on the outdoor property. The permanent shops around the village are also part of the draw; the Shoppes directory lists each store.

Make a Morning of It

Early risers can start Saturday at Cars and Coffee, which the village lists every Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. with the Laughing Goat Café. On Sunday, Garlic Fest lands during the final weeks of the Shoppes at Lafayette Farmers Market, which runs Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through October 25.
