Looking for where to eat in Hamburg, NJ? Our team rounded up six open restaurants in Hamburg and the surrounding Hardyston Township, from a Wine Spectator Grand Award wine cellar and a mountain-view tavern at Crystal Springs to Korean fusion, a family trattoria and two Route 94 Italian kitchens. Addresses, phone numbers and hours below come from each restaurant’s own current website.
Hamburg sits where Route 23 meets Route 94, so it is an easy stop on the way to Vernon, Franklin or the mountain. If you are making a day of it, see our guide to things to do in Franklin just down Route 23, or keep going north to our picks for the best restaurants in Vernon.
Crystal Tavern

Crystal Tavern in the Crystal Springs Clubhouse at 1 Wild Turkey Way serves three meals a day with mountain and sunset views. The menu changes with the seasons and leans on New Jersey farmers and purveyors, with craft cocktails, microbrews and wines from the resort’s cellar. Breakfast runs 7 to 11 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and dinner 5 to 10 p.m., with the bar open later on select nights. Reservations are required at 855-977-6473. Heads up: the resort notes the tavern will close at 5 p.m. on October 28, 2026.
Restaurant Latour

Restaurant Latour, also at the Crystal Springs Clubhouse, is the special occasion pick on this list. Guests choose a three-course menu or a seven-course Chef’s Tasting built around fermentation, preservation, foraging and local ingredients, and the meal ends with chocolates made by Jacques Torres. The resort’s Wine Cellar has won the Wine Spectator Grand Award every year since 2006. Latour serves Thursday through Sunday from 5 p.m. There is a dress code: no denim, shorts, sneakers or t-shirts, and jackets are preferred for men.
Blue Spice Kitchen

Blue Spice Kitchen at 3339 Route 94, Unit 3.1, cooks modern Asian American food with Korean and Japanese roots. Think char-grilled chicken galbi over cool vermicelli noodles, kimchi and scallion pancakes, Korean smoked duck and a market-style ramyun made with homemade chicken stock. Yelp named it to its Top 50 places to eat in North Jersey in 2021. Hours are noon to 9 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and noon to 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It is closed Wednesday. Call 973-864-2311 for reservations or order takeout online.
Nonna Vita Trattoria

Dine in or call ahead for pickup. Hours are Tuesday through Thursday 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. It is closed Sunday, Monday and major holidays. Tony’s Pizza & Pasta Restaurant at 3339 Route 94 is the late, easy option. It keeps the longest hours on this list, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, and the menu runs from pizza, pan pizza and Sicilian pies to stromboli, calzones, hot and cold subs, homemade pasta dinners and veal and chicken plates, plus lunch and dinner specials. Call 973-209-7775.
How to Plan a Hamburg Food Stop
Start the day with breakfast at Crystal Tavern, which opens at 7 a.m. For a casual lunch or dinner, Pomodoro Italiano and Tony’s are open every day, and Tony’s stays open until 10 p.m. Save Restaurant Latour for a Thursday through Sunday night out and dress for it. Plan around the days off: Blue Spice Kitchen is closed Wednesday, and Nonna Vita is closed Sunday and Monday. Blue Spice, Pomodoro and Tony’s all sit on the same stretch of Route 94, so it is easy to compare menus before you pick.
