Byram Trading Post and Byram Stone are open for shopping at 198 Route 206 North in Byram Township, a Route 206 stop where antiques, ice cream, local pantry goods and garden supplies share one property. Our team put together this guide so you can plan a Sussex County shopping outing that covers the trading post up front and the stone and landscape yard in back.
What you will find at Byram Trading Post
Byram Trading Post fills the renovated former Mountainside Cafe space with a mix that leans local and browsable. Expect antiques and vintage finds alongside gifts, art and produce-style snacks, plus ice cream for a quick treat while you shop. Local pantry picks reported at opening include Jerzey Girl Pickles, products from The Chocolate Shoppe in Long Valley, Chester Meat Market items, Family Kitchen Ravioli, jams, dressings, honey and baked goods from Ort Farms. Boating and camping supplies round out the mix for lake-season and weekend trips.
Owners Louis and Andrea Coviello run the trading post as a family business. Updates and new arrivals show up on the shop’s Facebook page and Instagram.
Byram Stone garden and mason supplies out back
Behind the trading post, Byram Stone operates as a masonry and landscape supply yard run by Louis Coviello with Rudy and Annette Coviello. The yard stocks filter fabric and weed mat, bulk stone and natural stone, CMU block, bagged cement, natural and thermal bluestone, paving stone, porcelain pavers and jointing materials, plus thin stone veneer, full-bed veneer and cultured stone. Garden art such as pots, birdbaths, benches and one-of-a-kind pieces made on site is also part of the in-store mix, and the team works with local contractors on installs from walkways to pool projects.
Byram Stone lists its location as 198 U.S. Highway 206, Byram Township, NJ, and its phone as (973) 747-0729. On Thursday, October 1, 2026, the Byram Stone site shows the yard open from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Why it works as an open-now shopping stop
The two businesses sit together on Route 206 North, so one pull-off covers a gift and antiques browse, an ice cream break and a garden or hardscape run. That pairing makes the property a practical daytime stop between other Sussex County plans, whether you are stocking a pantry shelf, hunting a unique piece or picking up pavers and stone for a yard project.
