Farm stands still open in November across Sussex County, NJ keep produce, baked goods, meat and ice cream on the shelves after the peak fall festivals wrap up. Our team checked 9 farm markets that are confirmed open now, from year-round stores in Sparta and Green Township to November hours in Glenwood, Vernon, Fredon, Newton, Sussex and Wantage.

1. Andersen Farms, Sparta

Andersen Farms runs its year-round Sparta store at 34 Layton Lane, open Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 7 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM. 2. Tranquillity Farms, Green Township

Tranquillity Farms at 47 Decker Pond Road in Green Township (Andover mailing address) keeps its farm market open all year, Monday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 7 PM and Sunday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. Shoppers will find produce, dairy, eggs, baked goods and homegrown beef and pork, plus homemade ice cream.

3. Green Valley Farms, Wantage

Green Valley Farms sells its own beef, produce and homemade ice cream at the market and creamery at 997 Route 23 in Wantage. The farm also runs a roadside stand at 131 McAfee Vernon Road in Vernon and hosts its Christmas Market on Saturday, December 12, 2026.

4. Heaven Hill Farm, Vernon

Heaven Hill Farm at 451 Route 94 in Vernon keeps its farm market and bakery open seven days a week with pies, cider donuts, jams, local honey, cheese and locally raised meat. Its Great Pumpkin Festival runs through November 8, 2026. Contact: info@heavenhillfarm.com.

5. Windy Brow Farms, Fredon

Windy Brow Farms at 359 Ridge Road in Fredon Township (Newton mailing address) is open year round. The farm store, bakery and ice cream counter are open seven days a week from 9 AM to 6 PM this fall. Contact: jake@windybrowfarms.com.

6. Pochuck Valley Farms, Glenwood

Pochuck Valley Farms at 962 McAfee Glenwood Road keeps its market, deli, Diana’s Bakery and gift shop open through November. Hours are Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 5 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 6 AM to 3 PM. The farm closes Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, December 26 and New Year’s Day.

7. Brodhecker Farm, Newton

Brodhecker Farm at 2 Branchville Lawson Road sells beef, poultry and pork cuts daily, plus cut flowers and farm supplies. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from 10:30 AM to 5 PM.

8. JADS Farm Market, Sussex

JADS Farm Market (John D. Madura Farms) at 267 Route 23 North in Sussex is open seven days a week from April 1 through December 31, 9 AM to 5 PM. The stand sells the farm’s own vegetables, eggs and packaged goods, and the farm also runs a local CSA.

9. The Farm at Glenwood Mountain, Vernon

The Farm at Glenwood Mountain at 1801 County Road 565 in Vernon keeps its on-site market open Friday from 9 AM to 2 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM for grass-fed beef, pastured pork, chicken, turkey and eggs. It is a good Saturday morning stop when you are already in the Glenwood area.
