What Is a Tricky Tray?
A tricky tray is a basket raffle, a familiar fundraiser at Sussex County schools, firehouses and rescue squads. Guests buy tickets, drop them into cups or bags for the prizes they want, and wait for numbers to be called. The Frankford Township PTA is raising money to support programs at Frankford Township School.

The Sussex County Fairgrounds are in Augusta, a community inside Frankford Township, so the PTA is hosting its night close to home. The fairgrounds calendar is the primary public listing for the date, time and building. The Richards Building is an indoor hall on the fairgrounds campus. The fairgrounds site also publishes a main telephone number, (973) 948-5500, for the grounds themselves. That number belongs to the fairgrounds, not to the PTA.
A Busy Weekend at the Fairgrounds
The tricky tray lands in the middle of a full fairgrounds weekend. The same calendar lists Girls on the Run from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 15. Later in November, the Annual Northwest Christian School Craft Fair is set for November 21 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and the Blue Ridge Rescue Squad Tricky Tray follows on November 22 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
